I would want to read how good it is for our dogs from someone who was NOT putting it in their dog food before I bought in to the idea. I do not think corn is inherently bad, just not the best for for my Yorkies. IF I had to have a corn ingredient, it would be ground corn -- not the residue left over after taking out all the good stuff -- corn gluten meal.

"Corn gluten meal is the by-product after the manufacture of corn syrup or starch, and is the dried residue after the removal of the bran, germ, and starch." http://www.peteducation.com/article....&articleid=668

Here is one that is actually pro-corn but not pro-corn gluten: " If the dog food you are feeding contains any corn fillers, specifically corn gluten meal, corn bran, and corn flour then you are not feeding the wholesome corn that dogs can assimilate. Fillers hold little to no nutritional value. They are what remain of corn after the nutritious part has been removed. In fact, corn gluten meal is highly nitrogenous and used as an organic weed killer. It also tests out at 60% protein, however that "protein" is incomplete and of the poorest quality. " http://www.beowulfs.com/magazine/corn.htm

I will pass on the corn gluten meal......
