zac wont let the vet clip his nails he goes mad flipping off the table and biting but he will now let me do it and is really good, i use to put him on his back on my lap and after i cut one id tell him what a good boy he was and lift him up and give him a treat, i did the same after each nail, and after doing that a few times i stopped giving him the treat after each nail and only gave him it after i done them all, hes good as gold now when im doing them but still wont let the vet lol |
congratulations on that. That is the only thing I have a problem with kizzy about. I have to take her to the vet. once two held her while the dr cut her nails and she still scratched the girl on the face and arm pretty good and the last time, they just had to put a muzzle on her. The vet said she had the fastest mouth in the south. lol and I'm scared to do maggies because their so small so I just take them both to the vet and let them do it. But your tips sounds good for those brave enough to try that. LOL, I'm not.
