Hi,

I don't have much experience with dogs, but when my girl first had the puppies they weren't nursing off of her back teats and she looked like that in the back. My vet looked at them and said it wasn't a problem unless they got really hot, or the milk that I squeezed out of her wasn't bloody or yellow.

In horses they swell up huge when they wean the foal, and it's pretty normal.
