Hi everyone!
I'm so excited! I've been wanting a Yorkie for a couple of years now and think I may have found a breeder that I'm comfortable with! She directed me here to this site to get the low down on these wonderful little dogs.
I currently have a Cairn Terrier. He'll be 3 in May and his name is Braxton. This is my 3rd Carin and he's been the best one yet. I figured after Braxton departed this world, my next one would be a Yorkie but I just sense that he's longing for a K-9 companion. So I decided - why wait for him to go?
Cairns are wonderful dogs but I've fallen in love with the little angel faces of the Yorkie. Hopefully I'll be a Yorkie Mama toward the end of May or beginning of June!
If anyone has any tips for introducing a new puppy to an older dog, please let me know! I've got a few months to prepare and get our home ready to welcome a new little princess into our lives so any thing you think I need to know - please feel free!
