I have both boys and girls.

I never thought I would want a boy because of the marking and humping issues. But then I saw Scampers and couldn't resist. I am so glad I got him, he is my baby boy!!

I still prefer girls because I love dressing them up and their are sooo many cute girl outfits out there for them. The other advantage is they don't mark or hump like boys do. But some females do hump and mark, not all but some do.

I have noticed that my boys are more loving though than my girls. My girls are loving but my boys are little cuddle bugs. And they have never been aggressive and marking and humping hasn't been a problem with my boys.

I love both my girls and boys and I think when you find the right puppy, it won't matter whether it is a boy or girl.
