Trixie my yorkie poo had tonsilitis. She kept getting it and they would put her on medicine and then switch the medicine. After she got it about 4 times in a row, the vet suggested having her tonsils removed. So we went ahead with the surgery and I am glad she had it done. She no longer has a problem with it and she felt sooo much better after having it done. Sounds like your baby is headed in the same direction. I would get her tonsils removed, she will feel much better and it is better than being put on medication all the time or trying out new vitamins or herbs. It is a minor surgery. Trixie was up and bouncing around the second day, although they do have a few restrictions for a week. But she was great with the surgery and had no complications at all. The vet said tonsilitis is alot more common then we think and had preformed the surgery many times. In fact there was a lady there picking up her toy poodle who just had it done as well.

Good luck with whatever you decide!! I hope your baby feels better soon!!
