Do check it out before you enroll (like Misty said, watch some classes), and look for positive training methods (no leash jerking/hanging, forcing the dog to comply, alpha rolls, etc.). I took Missie years ago and wasn't impressed with some of the training. But it was good for socialization, and Missie did learn commands with distractions, which was really good. I recommend it (if it's positive based) for socialization if nothing else. Plus our Yorkies are so smart, they tend to stay ahead of the class which gives bragging rights.
