We have thoroughly "puppy proofed" the house; all cleaning supplies are in upper cabinets. The spider thing I did not know about, thanks for the warning. I'm not sure how to get rid of spiders though. I hate pesticides; really think they can be harmful to animals and contribute to cancer. Not sure how to deal with this.

I guess you just have to go with your instincts..you know your dog best. I'm assuming the Doggy ER is open 24/7? If so that's a comfort knowing that at any point if you decide to you can go. I think if they vomit once or twice you really don't need a vet call. If they continue to like your Joey did by all means call the vet. If they are going downhill quickly and you haven't heard from your vet then get him to the Doggy ER. Hope this helps and i'm so happy Joey is doing better.....Take Care |
Yes, animal hospital is open 24 hours, but is not affiliated with my regular vet. It's hard to know when you are being protective or "over" protective, you made me think I made the right choice, and that's good to know, thanks.
