She was full of poop in her crate from the long flight. After tending to her & giving water & nutrical we started our 3 hour journey home. After bathing her I could see she was undernourished. Got her into the vet right away. She had cocidia, giardia, upper respiratory infection. She weighted only 1.3 at the vet at 13 weeks. The breeder said she was just small & would stay that way & she was finicky. HA! After 3 weeks on Meds and over $300 in vet bills, she was fine. At least I thought so. Now we are dealing with her liver. Another $500 so far into her. She now weighs 6.6 lbs or so. My husband wanted a morkie, because of the coloring. We love her to death & wouldn't change her for anything, & I also know this could happen buying a full breed. I just say now when buying a dog, word of mouth is the best way to find a good breeder. |
I hope all is okay with her. she is so cute.
