It depends on what I am shipping and where its being shipped to. Some things are not easily replaced as Katys Mom stated, her hard work is very valuable, and should be insured! Or products with a high monetary value. Its around major holidays that when most shipments are lost or stolen and they should be insured or at the least getting a Signature Conformation is wise...

As of now, I ship priority or better on all of my packages and pay for delivery conformation. However, If I did insurance my customers would have to be present for delivery to sign for their packages. And this might cause problems for those who work outside of their home during delivery hours. I would hate for my customers to be inconvenienced by having to make a special trip to the post office to pick up and sign for a package. Which is why I opt not to use the Insurance unless it is during a high risk shipping season.
