I probably get 1 phone call for a boy to every 3 to 4 for a girl. Girls generally go first thing and are more popular.
I sell on spay neuter and still charge more for girls. I will be truthful as to really why. They are more in demand and people will pay more even without the option to breeding them. Because its been passed on and on that girls are better pets.

I'm not sure yet, but I think all my puppies will go with limited registrations, and this is what I have told people who call, but they don't seem to care, they still want the girls. I know girls usually weigh less, but my two girls and one of my boys are small 8 oz-2 weeks (according to the charts 4-4.5 lbs full grown) and no one said I want the small male!!
Oh and by the way, I have not listed my puppies in the paper or anything yet, the few telephone calls that I have gotten were just word or mouth.
