Good Evening everyone. I have a question about Vaccinations. Babybear is due for his vaccinations and I have been told and have read in the past that Yorkie's should not have the Lipto vaccination. This is what he is due for right now. I have told the vet I did not want the lyme disease shot done on him last year and they have him scheduled for it this year so I will have to say no again. The other Shot he is due for is the DHLPP Booster. I know I am going to get a lot of responses to this. I am just worried about him at this point. Babybear is the little guy that broke his neck back in July. He had undiagnosed AAI/AAS (Atlantoaxial Instability) this is a malformation of the vertabra in the neck. Well I know his immune system has been down after surgery he ended up with a papilomia virus under his tongue. I guess what I am asking is should I worry about him getting this shot????
