Do NOT use a collar on your yorkie to attach a leash to - especially to a 10 week old puppy. Yorkies have very small and fragile tracheas... a few tugs on the leash can cause permanent damage down the road for your little one, including a collapsing trachea. Rather than a collar, try a step-in harness. Some people use collars on their yorkies strictly to keep their tags on them, but many (including myself) don't even do that.

Welcome to YT and good luck with your new baby!

Edited to add: 10 weeks is pretty young to be venturing outside on a leash really. Are you just potty training, or are you trying to walk him? At 10 weeks he isn't fully vaccinated yet and it's not a great idea to have him outside too much - there are many germs/diseases he can pick up outside. Have you thought of using pee pads to train until he's a little bigger/older?
