My Chanel is like that, she wants me to talk to her while she eats. We share her food with her " imaginary" friend, called LuLu.. no idea who Lulu is LOL... But it's one for LuLu, one for Chanel - she's a difficult little eater, and very picky, so i do anything to please the kid
