i was waiting to see if someone more experienced than myself came on. Guess they are still asleep. anyway, mine are almost nine weeks. At three and a half weeks, they were trying to eat their mothers food so I made them a real soupymix of wet food and puppy supplement. gave them this for a few days then an experienced breeder on here told mme their little tummies might not be ready for the meat yet and made a suggestion. So, then I started giving them a littlee gerber baby rice cereal, karo syrup (just a drop or two) and enough esbilac puppy suplement to make it soupy. They went wild over it. i gave it to them four times a day . They were still nursing some. kandy wouldn't let them nurse a lot so they were hungry. When they were five weeks, I introduced finely ground dry food with the wet and still do that three or four times a day but they are also eating regular kibble that I leave out all the time. Pluss, they are still cornering their mama once or twice a day but she is almost dry.
