I've bought several different styles over the years & every one of them has caused her coat to go into a horrible tangled mess across her shoulders. It isn't as though she wears them for hours! She's nearly 12, with a heart condition now, so can only do very short walks but still we get the tangles.... we spend ten minutes walking & an hour untangling afterwards!
She has a really good coat, very long & silky, & this is a nightmare!
I use a spray Before dressing my girls - I alternate between Plush Puppy Sea Breeze oil and the CC Systems Ice on Ice - Cheri will tangle but Chanel who has a cottony coat doesn't - go figure lol ....

NOW I'm using the Crown Royal Detangling spray and really like it - KathrynV was going to sell it but I haven't seen it on her site yet - you may want to ask her about it - it really helps get out the tangles
