I've used both & prefer to use a harness, because of the throat issue.
But can someone tell me please how you prevent the harness from making a dreadful tangled mess of the coat?
I've bought several different styles over the years & every one of them has caused her coat to go into a horrible tangled mess across her shoulders. It isn't as though she wears them for hours! She's nearly 12, with a heart condition now, so can only do very short walks but still we get the tangles.... we spend ten minutes walking & an hour untangling afterwards!
She has a really good coat, very long & silky, & this is a nightmare!
