That is a tough one! I think I would let her spend a little more time at your MIL's before the trip, maybe one night here and there so that she gets used to being there before you go so that when you are gone for a week it won't be so traumatizing! But I agree with kraekerr that the layovers would be horrible and she would end up staying in the hotel room alone which will be a strange place to her, while you guys are out exploring and she may be even more scared. |
