As much as I love the beaches of Gulf Shores, you can travel a little further west to Destin (or any part of the Florida panhandle.) The Beaches there are a little whiter, the water a little clearer. Some beaches in Destin can be compared to more tropical beaches like Jamaica or Bahamas. They are that pretty!
I'm not sure how pet friendly Destin is. It's more crowded than Gulf Shores, which is why we go to GS when we take the kids and travel with other families. |
