I think she got way in over her head. I really don't think her intentions were to take peoples money - but it got too easy to get paid and not send stuff.
The house thread was the eye opener - she'd been having problems way before that happened with not shipping to people that ordered. They were nice about it. Maybe if someone had said something way back when it first started .....she wouldn't have walked off with much money.
I hope she makes good on everything - but I wouldn't hold my breath.
