Your title says that your ashamed; this is a poor example to set for your kids. Your teaching them: "It's alright to break the rules if nobody catches you." I would use this to teach my kids a valuable lesson. Explain to your children that what you done is wrong and you want to set things straight. You are right in what you are saying to a certain degree, and I am going to speak to my landlord. He's an ederly guy, he's had this building about 30yrs now. I have been here a long time and he has not had a complaint, he even complimented me on how my "kids" have grown up. One thing I don't agree on is setting a bad example to my kids. They are my kids, my son is 24 engaged and about to move out. My daughter is 17 (18) in Feb about to leave for college next year. They did not know about the clause in the lease. One reason I purchased a second one is because everyone will be gone soon. I don't won't Kodak to be lonely with me, so it's cool. I asked for your opinions so to Chachi, opinions won't be taken the wrong way. I am going to speak to my landlord before I get the new puppy in 2weeks. I am not a dishonest person, I just wanted to keep my pet. If I have to pay more, they are worth it.
