I'd like some recommendations on a low residue feed for a 5 month old puppy. Right now we are using Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice. His feeding schedule is almost exactly the same everyday, but his pottying is somewhat unpredictable and quite frequent 4-6 times per day. Not loose at all, very firm, but unpredictable. I thought perhaps a low residue feed or a different feed than we are currently using might reduce the frequency or at least produce more predictable results. I know of a yorkie that poops 2x per day on the exact schedule everyday. That would be great if we could achieve something like that.

My main reason for this is that if I don't pick up his poop within a few minutes, he thinks it is fair game to play with/eat, ugh!!!! If his schedule was a bit more predictable, I could better eliminate this problem!
