Day two and I feel great. One thing the book emphasized is this is a positive thing so don't mope around about it and think, I want a cigarette. Once you have decided to be a nonsmoker, you do not want one, your body is just craving nicotine. SO every time I feel that urge I just picture a little monster inside me who is demanding his dose of nicotine and I just tell him, screw you! You're not getting it. Then I feel like I'm one step closer to killing the damn thing off. It probably sounds silly without reading the book. After reading it I don't feel like I am quitting, I feel like have quit- does that make sense?
