Max sometimes does this with treats, too. When Max was about 10 months old, I drove to my parents' house to visit (it's a 5-6 hour drive) and throughout morning and on the trip he had accumulated 6 treats in his bed. When we arrived at my parents my dad unloaded my car, including all of the treats that Max buried in his bed. Max began frantically looking for them in and around his bed--it was so funny to see. When I realized what he was doing, I took the pile of treats from the kitchen counter and put them back in his bed. Once he realized that they were there, he laid down an fell asleep. It was so cute. Thay are so funny sometimes
