Hey.
If you are concerned about money. Buying from the cheapest breeder is nothing but trouble. No good breeder who cares about their pups is going to sell them "cheap." They are a certain price to recoop the cost of health testing, vet visits, good quality dog food, showing the "parents" and other dogs in the familial lines to ensure that the offspring will be in conformation with the breed standard etc. Even with $1000 price tag, a good breeder makes nothing from their pups. They breed for the love of the breed, to try to perfect the familial lines etc.
Soooo, a breeder who sells pups for cheap is obviously not doing something that they should, or they wouldn't be able to sell cheap.
So, anyways, I don't know where in Ontario you are, but doing a few hours of research on the internet would be a good idea. I have found countless yorkies for adoption by rescues. They are in desperate need of homes, and they are less expensive. That would be your best bet.
Good luck. |
