hello ! I have a 4-1/2 month old yorkie puppy. I have a question about her appearance. I guess she is going to be a "silky" from what I read. But her hair is really black on the tips and grayish/silvery on the roots. Her head has a lot of blonde in it. My question is... once I get her groomed, does that mean she isnt going to be black anymore?? It looks like she is going to be almost silver in color!
Also, I have a yorkie-poo and I like to keep him short cut (I call it the puppy cut).. and I want to do this with my yorkie puppy. Does anyone have an older silky with short hair?? Not the kind down to the ground I see in pics?
