I have the same problem. I have had my yorkies for 3 yrs and 1+ years. I take care of them day and night, feed them, take care of them when they are sick (the little boy was very sick at one point)...............and my mom has moved in for a short time while in between houses and low and behold, they are stuck to her like glue (esp. the girl). Bella insists!!!! on sleeping with her, she cried in my room the first night, up and down from my bed, I got no sleep and figured, oh well, just let her.
I dont take it personally, my dogs love me. I guess grandma is just "extra special".
I guess I dont really have advise, but it will go back to me being "top dog" once my mom moves out.
