Yep!!!! sure doo!!! Even short could still get all matted up under the arms and around the face!!! I made that mistake the 1st puppy cut. I thought- oh yea not as much work!!! Wrong. Next visit he had to be shaved all the way down. He looked like a rat!!! You don't have to brush as much, but still once a day and its much, much easier!!!
