It's was 19 here in NJ today and I wouldn't put my dogs out. They're tiny and can't take the cold. I put wee pads on the garage floor and this way it isn't as cold and they are on paper. I still put a sweater on all. I went to the supermarket at 7:30 a.m. and naturally no gloves, my hands were frozen to the cart, can't imagine how a Yorkies paws must feel outside in this weather.
If he's running around when thawed out, I would thinmk it's from the cold. Fluffy new snow isn't packed and frozen. |
