I agree with Cynthia. Our first Yorkie was trained to go outside in the daytime and nice weather. She had certain spots to make her deposits. She was trained to use the pads in our garage at night and in bad weather and it was the same in there as outside. She had her designated pee pads and her designated poop pads and you better put the pads where she wanted them, too.
