 Remaining calm!
Your girl is only 10 months..she should not be bred the first heat and not to a 6 month old puppy dog. If you insist on breeding her..then spend the next 6 months learning all you can to insure the health and well being of your little mommie and her future litter. You will hear lots of hellish stories of dead bitches, lost pups and vet bills a mile long...it can happens and often does on a daily basis..but all can go well also..it just depends on how much of a risk taker you are...
PS..large dog whelping is nothing like toy dog whelping...if a puppy gets stuck in a large breed you can put you hand inside and pull out the pup...in a small Yorkie you can barely get a finger in to help them out...prepare and learn...don't let your bitch down. |
