Oh, mine are definitely pet quality too, and by the way, I love ALL varieties that yorkies come in, including traits that might be considered "faults" in the showring, but are ADORABLE on the couch in my livingroom!
But you're right, that makes the "true" standard kind of hard to recognize, especially for those who are new to yorkies. And $3,000 is a lot of money. I'd just hate to see someone pay that much, and not get what they thought they were getting. (ie, as advertised, a "perfect" example of the yorkie standard)
