I agree with Tami. Many times itching is caused by a food allergy. Have you changed food? Of course, a dog can eat the same thing for years and still develop an allergy. I had a Parson Russell Terrier that would scratch herself raw. I tried all kinds of shampoos and skin supplements. A breeder suggested that I feed her Nutro Skin and Coat formula and she stopped almost immediately.
