Boy, do I know how you feel. Had a little girl yorkie, she was my baby, hubby would do if I wasn't around though. Got hubby a little chi, she is his baby and will only fool with me when he isn't around. My little girl passed and the little chi, Cosie won't have a thing to do with me. I totally take care of her too! It's not that she doesn't like me, it's just that she bonded with him. It's getting better but I know she will always be his little baby and I am getting another for me. The reason I got her for him was because the yorkie wouldn't fool with him much and I know he felt bad not having his own cuddle pup. Sounds like you have a pretty good relationship with Cookie though, I think time will be your best ally, as she matures so will her relationships.
