Also, I would just like to throw in my 2cents. I did buy my yorkie in missouri, great breeder, everything was perfect, but Missouri is one of the biggest, if not the biggest puppy mill states. I would just be hessitant. I live in Nevada and I always see ads in Texas for yorkies at decent prices. You would probably be better off buying closer to home and wouldnt have to pay shipping.

Hey! I live in MO now. I know a few breeders, breeding myself, but I haven't actually run into a puppy miller. There's one I would qualify as a puppymiller down in AR, tho. I bought one dog from her and I do have to say that no matter what her set up looked like, the dog was a good one. She's on her way to 2 years old and I wouldn't trade her for anything.
I will ship puppies but I also believe that you should look close to home first and during your search. There's nothing like being able to go see the puppy and talk to the breeder in person. Sylvia
