My thoughts on this issue would be the proper placement of my puppies. What this breeder has done to you is wrong and you do have a couple options to make sure your puppies are placed into the proper homes. I would not consider the stud owner to be a proper home at this time anyway. As far as I am concerned what the stud owner has done to this point is not reputable and is not a way I would want to be treated. If I was in your situation I would state to her that she can pick a male from the litter. Once the male is ready for his new pet home and he is paid for, you will at that time give her the money from this particular pup. That way you have control over the placement of the puppies and she is paid for the pup that would have been her pick. Or you can decide to place the puppies into a pet home with no registrations. If the puppies are being placed into pet homes being registered with a kennel club of any kind is not necessary.
