I think that a *little* exercise daily would be good for healing, maybe some easy-paced walking on a leash.

Ask the vet about that, it can't be good for her to just lie there day after day, either physically or emotionally I think that these little ones tend to heal very quickly due to their high metabolisms, but that's just my opinion, I'm not a vet or anything

But now that I think about it, my girlfriend in HS had a boyfriend that crashed his motorcycle and had to have pins and plates and screws put in his leg. I remember that he was only laid up for a couple of weeks, then he was made by his doctor to get up and about with crutches, a few times a day. Gentle movements help encourage healing It's probably harder with a doggie, since they walk on all fours, but POOR baby and you, it must be so hard to keep her in that crate
