Full means you can show and breed the dog. with a limited reg. you cannot do those things. There is a box on the bottom of the AKC puppy paper the breeder gives you. This will be blackened by the breeder if it is limited. You need to discuss this upfront with your breeder so there won't be any surprises. it would be sad to get home with your puppy and find that you have limited reg. Most breeders do charge a little more for those rights.
