Aww...thanks guys for all your posts. I just got home from dropping him off at the vet. She could tell I was nervous. I asked a million questions. I made sure they're gonna do a blood panel first to make sure he'll react okay to the anestisia. They're gonna check out his teeth and trim his nails, too. She told me that they will give him an IV and gas. I stated my concerns. I've read on here before that IV's could be too much for little yorkies. She tried to reassure me that there will always be at least two techs with him and that the IV catheder will be helpful if they need to give him a certain medicine. He should be ready by 3 p.m. I have the next several days off so expect updates from me. Thanks for all your concern, Christy
