love love love the Cowboy Magic on tangles. It only takes a pin head drop rubbed in the matt to loosen it. I use it on both the silky coats - Chattie, Peppy, Kiko and the puppies and the cotton coated Chizziewink. I have also been caught using a dash on my own straight as an arrow silver/gray hair. It leaves it silky, shiny, but way too soft to style....
Coat Handlers has great products. I believe they have a detangling conditioner.
