As a purely hypothetical question (not related to my other post
) Let's say a cell phone was put through the washing machine. The phone doesn't work but the SIM card still does. When this phone was brought to the Cingular store they suggested that the person call customer service and get insurance then wait 30 days and file a claim. Customer service wants to call the line to verify it is working. If I put the SIM card in my phone so that the call could go through, is there any way they could tell? Hypothetically speaking of course. Thanks! They're calling back at 4:00.
