I thought the same thing! I don't have a lot of money but I love these dogs so much! I have wanted one my whole life, lol...I figured since the one is free and if a heart murmur isn't such a big deal than perhaps we'd be alright.

Maybe if the heart murmur is mild, this could be the dog for you! Would they let you take the dog to your own vet to get checked out, and find out how much the medicine would be? Just a thought
