What I would do is monitor closely for fever and if there is not any, use the warm compresses until morning and be at the vets when they open. No, actually what I would do is panic go to the ER and get billed an outrageous amount of money. But since it has been over a week, if there's no sign of infection it does seem like it is a bite of some kind that is doing what it should be doing, getting out of the poor baby. So, the compress should continue that process and it might be ok by morning. |
