In the end, it is THIER decision to do or not to do...I'm not going to force prospective owners to do anything, but I'm not going to put myself in the position where someone comes back and says, "ooops, I changed my mind" the day before the pup goes home and have turned away people. If they don't want to put $$ down until the pup is older, that is fine, but if someone else comes along who DOES want to do so, then I won't turn them away.

I totally agree. I don't think its too young.
