whelping This is the sad part about breeding...I have seen puppies moving in the womb one minute and come out dead in the next...if you worked on her for 15 mins with no response, then she was gone...there is "dead" and "really dead"..when they are "really dead", they are not coming back.
You pulled the butt first out as you should have..I pull the head firsts if theya re taking too long..I do not remove the sac as they can aspirate..and they are still getting oxegen from the cord as human baby...what I would have done is given a shot to speed up whelping after the first puppy..I perfer no more then an 60 to 90 mins between pups...that is when many pups are lost..
