Let me tell you, I have a climber just like yours. I had a small kids gate and was having the same problem you are. I bought a larger size placed plexi glass inside the new one that kept him inside for a while. He figured out to jump over . I had to be smarter then him.. I use the new gate with the plexi and place the old gate on top and trust me he can not get out. I do not trust him enough to run the house when I work. I did a thread on this so you may try the search engine.
