Hi Vicki. My concern would be for the birds you own. It's hard to tell how the cat will be with them and that's even if you have him or her as a kitten. I have a for instance for you; I have an umbrella cockatoo. My male cat never bothered him. Actually would play with her some BUT my female cat would stalk her, climb her cage etc. We had both cats as kittens. I really think that it depends soley on the personality of the cat. I do know that that the females seem to be more predatorial then the males. Both my cats are now deceased. Slinky passed at 19 yrs. and Sammy died at 10 yrs. old of a broken heart. Due to how different the both were with our parrot, we chose not to take the chance and get another Best of luck. Elaine
