This has happened to me a number of times...people insist on giving a puppy back instead of a fee. I have found it in my best interest to be fair...if there is one pup, then the fee is paid, if I ask for a female and males result..I either pick a male or allow the bitch owner to pay the regualr fee..NOT the price of a puppy.
The stud owner is out nothing, nothing at all, infact it is in her best interest to use her stud regularly..when money is your goal, you will always slant things in your favor. A breeder CAN NOT buy a good reputation..but they sure can ruin one very fast. |
