I have been reading your sad story and have felt for you both so much. I also had a bad experience when i lost my baby (not in the same tragic circumstances as yourselves - my Benjie was 13 but the love and loss was just the same). I decided that i could never get another dog to replace my lost baby. But what i didnt realise at the time was that you dont replace one baby for another - there is enough love to go around. My little Harvey will never replace my Benjie, but he is just as special to me in his own little way.He is totally different in every way but just as special, he is 9 months old now, full of mischief and i enjoy every day we have with him. So please try not to feel guilty for the love you are giving to your little nessa - her little sister will understand, and be happy for you all - i am sure.
