Congratulations! My nephew who never had a dog growing up bought a tiny, 5 lbs. male for his daughter and it became his dog. It took his wife two years to talk him into a puppy. We were at his house for a dinner and he had the dog on a leash so he wouldn't run away in case someone left a door open. He fell hard for this Poodle. He just bought another for his daughter. They are smart and easier to housebreak then a Yorkie. I grew up with one, a miniature.
The really tiny white ones (don't want to use the "T" word) tend to have more health issues.
If I ever can rehome my vicious Yorkie that I got stuck with in Sept., I am getting a Poodle.
Enjoy your new addition!
